Six EuroCitys a day across the North European Plain, with the cult WARS dining car serving pierogi between the Oder and the Vistula.

The Berlin-Warszawa-Express brand dates from 2002, but expresses have shuttled between the two capitals since the age of the Ost-Express. Today six EuroCity pairs cross the Oder at Frankfurt and lope across the North European Plain via Poznań behind Polish EU44 electrics. The WARS dining car (pierogi, żurek and złoty prices) is half the reason regulars still choose the train over the plane.
